Consisting of a base router stack unit, expansion stack unit, and multiple user-installable I/O cards, the SuperStack II RAS 1500 offers unprecedented configuration flexibility. Two expansion units can be fully integrated with the base unit via 3Com's patent pending StackNet (Firewire) interconnect allowing up to 24 ports of full wire speed.
