The 1355 took the best features of Adtran's Total Access and NetVanta series of products and combined them with a robust SIP gateway, IP router, and much more! The Adtran 1200740E1 utilizes the voice functionality of the Total Access 900e series as well as Power over Ethernet from the popular NetVanta series. This NetVanta business gateway unit comes with twenty-four fast Ethernet ports as well as two combo ports for uplinking and stacking. The combo ports can be either SFP fiber or Gigabit Ethernet. The Power over Ethernet capabilities of the 1355 allow you to power your 802.3af compliant devices such as your IP phones.
