In combination with the Accelar 8000 edge switch modules with MDA for riser connections, Accelar 1000 routing switches at the network core and Accelar 700 server switches for server farms, they provide an intelligent Ethernet solution for large, switched intranets. The 8148TX 48-port 10/100 edge switch module provides 48 auto-sensing 10/100 Mbps ports for desktop connectivity using RJ-45 connectors.
