It's based on the fourth-generation Digital Data Storage (DDS-4) tape technology and provides high-speed, large-capacity and space efficient data storage solution that is targeted for the needs of corporate, government, medical and education markets. TSL S11000/TB external autoloader has 320GB total capacity with an eight-cartridge capacity of 40GB (2: 1 compressed). The drive comes standard with seven data cartridges, one cleaning cartridge, SCSI cable, terminator, quick start card, manual and VERITAS Backup Exec live trial software.
