The OfficeConnect series is a group of hubs that have been optimized and designed for small Ethernet workgroups.
The OfficeConnect hub 8/TPC is an entry level model that includes enhanced diagnostics over its counterpart (8/TPO) for those who want simple yet powerful networking. It has eight, 10Base-T RJ-45 twisted-pair ports and also has a BNC 10Base2 Coaxial port to allow connection to other units, up to 30 hubs can be daisy-chained in this manner on a single segment. This allows for easy network expansion at a later date. There is also the standard MDI/MDIX switch to allow connection of either a workstation or another Ethernet hub for up to a maximum of 4 hubs in series. Cascading the hubs in this way will require the use of one of the RJ-45 ports, but allows for expansion and the addition of network functions such as print and fax services.

15+ yrs and it never failed, its old tech but very reliable.
